また香ばしい御仁が…

とあるMLでの話ですが、香ばしすぎる…。

• ことの発端は、Aさんによる研究成果としての互換プロセッサ開発＆UNIX V6を動かす話
• 知的財産権関係の話で「？」な話題勃発。
• どうも、「？」な話題を振ったBさんは、特許侵害の可能性を示唆しているっぽい

で、何をどうしたらそうなるのか？というのがわからない部分が

• SCOにお伺いを立てるべきでは（by Bさん）

ええと、UNIX V6を商用目的でどうこうするとか、それを改変して云々という話でかつライセンスに抵触（もしくはグレーゾーン）という話であれば別ですが、もともとは研究成果としての発表だったはずなんですが…。
「確かに」著作権者に確認を取るのは重要なんですが、それ以前の論旨が破綻（日本国内での話になぜ米国の特許の話が出てくるのか？というあたりすでに不明）してるんですが…。
